Change RDP port

Source URL: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306759

Before doing this disable windows firewall or add an exception for the
port you are going to use - otherwise you'll be locked out.

1. Start Registry Editor.

2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\TerminalServer\WinStations\RDP-Tcp\PortNumber

4. On the Edit menu, click Modify, and then click Decimal.

5. Type the new port number, and then click OK.

6. Quit Registry Editor.

Restart the PC
